About Me

I am just another golf tragic who got lucky enough to have the opportunity to pursue it as a career. I get as much enjoyment out of playing well as the next person and I have a deep love for the game.

I started my golfing life in Byron Bay as a 10 year old before moving to Melbourne in my early 20's to give myself the best chance to improve my skills and become a tour player. In 2015 I achieved that goal by playing myself through the Australasian Tour Qualifying School and got to play my 1st year of professional golf that year.

To put it simply, I got the chance to play the game at a high level professionally in 2015 before an injury took me away from golf in 2016 where I found a passion for coaching which has landed me where I am today.

I hope to continue both coaching and playing competitively for a long time into the future.

Coaching Background

From when I was about 16 years old I had people asking me, 'how do you play that shot, what club did you use for that'. It was from that point onwards that I was able to communicate my own thoughts and ideas to others and I found joy in helping other people improve their skills.

In 2017 I started my PGA Traineeship, which I later completed in 2019. I have been coaching at Burleigh Golf Club ever since and I continue to learn and grow as a golf coach today.
